Cleansing & Charging Crystals
Here at Crystal Essence we Cleanse and Charge our Crystals before they go out so that each person receiving their Crystals will be able to experience the infinite energy these Crystal have to offer. We also regularly clear the energy in our space & the crystals in it to make sure we provide fully Cleansed & Charged Crystals that are ready for you!
Why is it important for crystals to be cleansed and charged?
Crystals need to be cleansed and charged if you want your crystals to vibrate at their highest capacity. Crystals vibrate and absorb energy from you and the environment they are in. Energetically, crystals have an energy of their own and will absorb both positive and negative energies they come in contact with, making it important to regularly cleanse your crystals.

Suggested Methods for Cleansing Crystals

Smudging - Use - Sage, Sweet grass, Palo Santo, Frankincense.
Use - Sea Salt to give your crystals a cleansing bath. Place crystal on a plate and cover with dry rock sea salt and leave overnight. Use water to cleanse the salt away the next day. (Please Note not all crystals can withstand water.) Crystals like selenite will dissolve.

Sound - Use bells, chimes, singing bowls, or the sound of your own voice praying/chanting will help clear and program your crystal.
​
Water - Hold your crystal under running water. Visualise the water washing over the crystal to clear any unwanted energies. You can also cleanse in the ocean, a river or with spring water.

Selenite - You can also use other crystals like Selenite to clear and charge your crystals. Place your crystals next to a piece of Selenite making sure they are either on top or touching the Selenite. Leave for 30 minuets or overnight for best results.

Suggested Method for Charging Crystals
The full moon is the most purifying and powerful time to clear, program and charge your crystals. Place your crystals under the moonlight or near a window to absorb the energies of the moon. Working with the cycles of the moon can help with spiritual and emotional healing.

My name is Jo, and together with my niece Channy, we created Crystal Essence Shop, just over 2 years ago. I have been on the spiritual path for over 22 years and learnt many healing techniques along the way. While travelling my unique path, I found crystals that quickly became my favourite and most affective healing tools to date.

I have come to realise that if crystals can have such a big impact on myself and those around me, then others may want the opportunity to work with crystals and experience their own healing potential. I am very passionate when it comes to passing down my knowledge of crystals and how they can help guide us into self-healing.

Channy is my niece, and I have been teaching her about crystals since she was a little girl. I am so proud of all the knowledge she has retained over the years and the progress she has made in her own healing journey. Together, we make the perfect team, helping each other and anyone that requires our guidance and knowledge.
